Terms of Service
The agreement governing your use of TaskFlow.
Version 1.2 · Last updated 2026-10-28
These terms form a binding agreement between you and TaskFlow covering your use of the TaskFlow application, website and API. By creating an account or using the service you accept them. If you are accepting on behalf of an organisation, you confirm you are authorised to bind it.
1. Your account
You must provide accurate registration details, keep your password confidential, and tell us promptly at support@elixisis.digital if you suspect unauthorised access. You are responsible for activity under your account. You must be at least 16 years old.
2. Acceptable use
You may not use the service to:
- break the law, or infringe anyone’s intellectual property or privacy rights;
- send unsolicited bulk email, including by abusing task delegation to reach people who have not asked to hear from you;
- upload malware, or attempt to probe, scan, overload or gain unauthorised access to the service or to other users’ data;
- reverse engineer, resell or white-label the service without a written agreement;
- use automated means to create accounts or to evade rate limits.
We may suspend an account that breaches this section, and will tell you why when we can lawfully do so.
3. Your content
You keep all rights in the tasks and other content you create. You grant us only the licence needed to host, process, transmit and display that content in order to operate the service for you. Your task content is encrypted when stored, and we do not read it, sell it, or use it to build advertising profiles; we access it only at your request, to investigate abuse or a security issue, or where the law requires it. You are responsible for having the right to store any third-party personal data you put into the service.
4. Service availability
We work to keep the service available but do not guarantee that it will be uninterrupted, timely or error-free. We may change, suspend or discontinue features at any time. Where a separate written agreement sets out service commitments, that agreement prevails over this section.
5. Fees
Where a paid plan applies, fees, billing period and taxes are as stated at purchase. Unless your written agreement or applicable law says otherwise, fees are non-refundable for a period already started. We will give reasonable notice before a price change affecting your next renewal.
6. Termination
You may stop using the service and delete your account at any time from https://tasks.elixisis.digital/legal/delete-account or in the app. Deletion is immediate and irreversible — export your data first if you want to keep it. We may terminate or suspend access for a material breach of these terms, or if required by law. Sections 3, 7, 8, 9 and 10 survive termination.
7. Disclaimers
Except where the law does not allow it, the service is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. TaskFlow is a productivity tool; it is not a substitute for professional advice and must not be relied on as the sole record for safety-critical, medical, legal or financial obligations. You are responsible for keeping your own backups of anything you cannot afford to lose.
8. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, neither party is liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenue, goodwill or data. Our total aggregate liability arising out of or relating to the service is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim, or USD 100. Nothing here excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, including for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud.
9. Indemnity
You will indemnify TaskFlow against third-party claims arising from your content, or from your use of the service in breach of these terms, except to the extent the claim results from our own breach or negligence.
10. Governing law and disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of South Africa, and the courts of South Africa have exclusive jurisdiction, without prejudice to any mandatory consumer protections available to you where you live. Before starting proceedings, please contact support@elixisis.digital so we can try to resolve the matter directly.
11. Changes
We may update these terms. Where a change is material we will take reasonable steps to let you know before it takes effect; continuing to use the service after that means you accept the new terms. If you do not accept them, stop using the service and delete your account.
